Sundarkand (Rāmacaritamānasa)
सुन्दरकाण्ड
The Sundarkand is the fifth book (kanda) of the Ramcharitmanas, the Awadhi retelling of the Rama story composed by the 16th-century poet-saint Tulsidas. It recounts Hanuman's leap across the ocean to Lanka, his search for and meeting with Sita, the burning of Lanka, and his return, and is the most widely recited portion of the work.
