Kāmākṣī, "she whose eyes awaken love", is the presiding Goddess of Kāñcīpuram in Tamil Nadu, one of the seven sacred cities of India. She is a form of Lalitā Tripurasundarī and is seated in the yogic padmāsana posture, holding a noose, a goad, a sugarcane bow and five flower arrows.

Her temple, the Kāmākṣī Amman Kovil, is closely linked with Ādi Śaṅkarācārya, who is said to have installed the Śrīcakra before her, and with the Kāñcī Kāmakoṭi Pīṭha. The famous Mūka Pañcaśatī, five hundred verses in her praise, is attributed to the poet Mūka.
