Not every hymn belongs to one of the great deities. The Vedas and Purāṇas also praise Agni, Indra, Varuṇa and the Aśvins, the eight guardians of the directions (dikpālas), sacred trees and places, and the great ṛṣis such as Agastya, Vasiṣṭha and Viśvāmitra.
This collection gathers those hymns, together with a few Jaina and Bauddha stotras in Sanskrit, such as the Bhaktāmara Stotra and the hymns to Avalokiteśvara.
Each text opens in its own recitation frame, in Devanagari with transliteration.
