Verse 1

हे स्वामिनाथ करुणाकर दीनबन्धोश्रीपार्वतीशमुखपङ्कजपद्मबन्धो ।श्रीशादिदेवगणपूजितपादपद्मवल्लीशनाथ मम देहि करावलम्बम् ॥१॥

he svāminātha karuṇākara dīnabandhośrīpārvatīśamukhapaṅkajapadmabandho |śrīśādidevagaṇapūjitapādapadmavallīśanātha mama dehi karāvalambam ||1||

O Svāminātha, compassionate friend of the helpless, sun to the lotus face of Pārvatī’s lord, whose lotus feet are worshipped by Viṣṇu and the hosts of gods: O lord of Vallī, give me the support of your hand.

Verse 2

देवाधिदेवनुत देवगणाधिनाथदेवेन्द्रवन्द्य मृदुपङ्कजमञ्जुपाद ।देवर्षिनारदमुनीन्द्रसुगीतकीर्तेवल्लीशनाथ मम देहि करावलम्बम् ॥२॥

devādhidevanuta devagaṇādhināthadevendravandya mṛdupaṅkajamañjupāda |devarṣināradamunīndrasugītakīrtevallīśanātha mama dehi karāvalambam ||2||

Praised by the God of gods, leader of the hosts of gods, honoured by Indra, with soft and lovely lotus feet, whose glory is sung by the divine sage Nārada and the great munis: O lord of Vallī, give me the support of your hand.

Verse 3

नित्यान्नदाननिरत अखिलरोगहारिन्तस्मात्प्रदानपरिपूरितभक्तकाम ।श्रुत्यागमप्रणववाच्यनिजस्वरूपवल्लीशनाथ मम देहि करावलम्बम् ॥३॥

nityānnadānanirata akhilarogahārintasmātpradānaparipūritabhaktakāma |śrutyāgamapraṇavavācyanijasvarūpavallīśanātha mama dehi karāvalambam ||3||

Ever giving food, remover of every illness, who fills devotees’ desires with your gifts, whose true nature is the Oṃ declared by the Vedas and Āgamas: O lord of Vallī, give me the support of your hand.

Verse 4

क्रौञ्चासुरेन्द्रपरिखण्डन शक्तिशूल-पाशादिशस्त्रपरिमण्डितदिव्यपाणे ।श्रीकुण्डलीश धृततुण्ड शिखीन्द्रवाहवल्लीशनाथ मम देहि करावलम्बम् ॥४॥

krauñcāsurendraparikhaṇḍana śaktiśūla-pāśādiśastraparimaṇḍitadivyapāṇe |śrīkuṇḍalīśa dhṛtatuṇḍa śikhīndravāhavallīśanātha mama dehi karāvalambam ||4||

Who shattered Krauñca and the lord of the asuras, whose divine hands are adorned with the spear, the trident, the noose and other weapons, lord with shining earrings, riding the king of peacocks: O lord of Vallī, give me the support of your hand.

Verse 5

देवाधिदेव रथमण्डलमध्यवेद्यदेवेन्द्रपीठनगरं दृढचापहस्त ।शूरं निहत्य सुरकोटिभिरीड्यमानवल्लीशनाथ मम देहि करावलम्बम् ॥५॥

devādhideva rathamaṇḍalamadhyavedyadevendrapīṭhanagaraṃ dṛḍhacāpahasta |śūraṃ nihatya surakoṭibhirīḍyamānavallīśanātha mama dehi karāvalambam ||5||

God of gods, known at the centre of the circle of chariots, with a firm bow in hand, praised by millions of gods after slaying Śūra: O lord of Vallī, give me the support of your hand.

Verse 6

हीरादिरत्नमणियुक्तकिरीटहारकेयूरकुण्डललसत्कवचाभिराम ।हे वीर तारकजयामरवृन्दवन्द्यवल्लीशनाथ मम देहि करावलम्बम् ॥६॥

hīrādiratnamaṇiyuktakirīṭahārakeyūrakuṇḍalalasatkavacābhirāma |he vīra tārakajayāmaravṛndavandyavallīśanātha mama dehi karāvalambam ||6||

Lovely with a crown and necklace set with diamonds and gems, with armlets, earrings and shining armour, O hero, worshipped by the immortals for the victory over Tāraka: O lord of Vallī, give me the support of your hand.

Verse 7

पञ्चाक्षरादिमनुमन्त्रितगाङ्गतोयैःपञ्चामृतैः प्रमुदितेन्द्रमुखैर्मुनीन्द्रैः ।पट्टाभिषिक्त हरीयुक्त परासनाथवल्लीशनाथ मम देहि करावलम्बम् ॥७॥

pañcākṣarādimanumantritagāṅgatoyaiḥpañcāmṛtaiḥ pramuditendramukhairmunīndraiḥ |paṭṭābhiṣikta harīyukta parāsanāthavallīśanātha mama dehi karāvalambam ||7||

Consecrated as king by joyful Indra and the great sages with Gaṅgā water sanctified by the five-syllable mantra and with the five nectars, supreme lord: O lord of Vallī, give me the support of your hand.

Verse 8

श्रीकार्तिकेय करुणामृतपूर्णदृष्ट्याकामादिरोगकलुषीकृतदुष्टचित्तम् ।सिक्त्वा तु मामव कलानिधिकोटिकान्तवल्लीशनाथ मम देहि करावलम्बम् ॥८॥

śrīkārtikeya karuṇāmṛtapūrṇadṛṣṭyākāmādirogakaluṣīkṛtaduṣṭacittam |siktvā tu māmava kalānidhikoṭikāntavallīśanātha mama dehi karāvalambam ||8||

O Kārttikeya, sprinkle me, whose heart is defiled by desire and the other diseases, with your glance full of the nectar of compassion, and protect me, you who are lovelier than ten million moons: O lord of Vallī, give me the support of your hand.

Verse 9

सुब्रह्मण्यकरावलम्बं पुण्यं ये पठन्ति द्विजोत्तमाः ।ते सर्वे मुक्तिमायान्ति सुब्रह्मण्यप्रसादतः ॥९॥

subrahmaṇyakarāvalambaṃ puṇyaṃ ye paṭhanti dvijottamāḥ |te sarve muktimāyānti subrahmaṇyaprasādataḥ ||9||

Those excellent ones who recite this holy Subrahmaṇya Karāvalamba all attain liberation by the grace of Subrahmaṇya.
