Verse 1

मुदाकरात्तमोदकं सदा विमुक्तिसाधकंकलाधरावतंसकं विलासिलोकरक्षकम् ।अनायकैकनायकं विनाशितेभदैत्यकंनताशुभाशुनाशकं नमामि तं विनायकम् ॥१॥

mudākarāttamodakaṃ sadā vimuktisādhakaṃkalādharāvataṃsakaṃ vilāsilokarakṣakam |anāyakaikanāyakaṃ vināśitebhadaityakaṃnatāśubhāśunāśakaṃ namāmi taṃ vināyakam ||1||

I bow to Vināyaka, who joyfully holds modakas in his hand, who is ever the means to liberation, who wears the crescent moon as an ornament, protector of the world at play; the one leader of those who have none, slayer of the elephant demon, who swiftly destroys the misfortunes of those who bow to him.

Verse 2

नतेतरातिभीकरं नवोदितार्कभास्वरंनमत्सुरारिनिर्जरं नताधिकापदुद्धरम् ।सुरेश्वरं निधीश्वरं गजेश्वरं गणेश्वरंमहेश्वरं तमाश्रये परात्परं निरन्तरम् ॥२॥

natetarātibhīkaraṃ navoditārkabhāsvaraṃnamatsurārinirjaraṃ natādhikāpaduddharam |sureśvaraṃ nidhīśvaraṃ gajeśvaraṃ gaṇeśvaraṃmaheśvaraṃ tamāśraye parātparaṃ nirantaram ||2||

Terrifying to those who do not bow, radiant as the newly risen sun, revered by gods and demons alike, who lifts his devotees out of great calamity; lord of the gods, of treasures, of elephants and of the gaṇas, the great lord, higher than the highest: in him I take refuge, always.

Verse 3

समस्तलोकशङ्करं निरस्तदैत्यकुञ्जरंदरेतरोदरं वरं वरेभवक्त्रमक्षरम् ।कृपाकरं क्षमाकरं मुदाकरं यशस्करंमनस्करं नमस्कृतां नमस्करोमि भास्वरम् ॥३॥

samastalokaśaṅkaraṃ nirastadaityakuñjaraṃdaretarodaraṃ varaṃ varebhavaktramakṣaram |kṛpākaraṃ kṣamākaraṃ mudākaraṃ yaśaskaraṃmanaskaraṃ namaskṛtāṃ namaskaromi bhāsvaram ||3||

Bringer of welfare to all worlds, who drove away the demon elephant, broad of belly, the best, with the face of a noble elephant, imperishable; source of compassion, forbearance, joy and fame, who grants a steady mind to those who bow: to that radiant one I bow.

Verse 4

अकिञ्चनार्तिमार्जनं चिरन्तनोक्तिभाजनंपुरारिपूर्वनन्दनं सुरारिगर्वचर्वणम् ।प्रपञ्चनाशभीषणं धनञ्जयादिभूषणंकपोलदानवारणं भजे पुराणवारणम् ॥४॥

akiñcanārtimārjanaṃ cirantanoktibhājanaṃpurāripūrvanandanaṃ surārigarvacarvaṇam |prapañcanāśabhīṣaṇaṃ dhanañjayādibhūṣaṇaṃkapoladānavāraṇaṃ bhaje purāṇavāraṇam ||4||

Who wipes away the suffering of the destitute, the subject of ancient praise, the elder son of Śiva, who crushes the pride of the gods’ enemies, fearsome at the dissolution of the world, adorned by serpents such as Dhanañjaya, with temples flowing with ichor: I worship that ancient elephant.

Verse 5

नितान्तकान्तदन्तकान्तिमन्तकान्तकात्मजंअचिन्त्यरूपमन्तहीनमन्तरायकृन्तनम् ।हृदन्तरे निरन्तरं वसन्तमेव योगिनांतमेकदन्तमेव तं विचिन्तयामि सन्ततम् ॥५॥

nitāntakāntadantakāntimantakāntakātmajaṃacintyarūpamantahīnamantarāyakṛntanam |hṛdantare nirantaraṃ vasantameva yogināṃtamekadantameva taṃ vicintayāmi santatam ||5||

Son of the destroyer of Death, his tusk shining with lovely radiance, of inconceivable form and without end, who cuts away all obstacles and dwells forever in the hearts of yogis: on that one-tusked lord alone I meditate, always.

महागणेशपञ्चरत्नमादरेण योऽन्वहंप्रजल्पति प्रभातके हृदि स्मरन् गणेश्वरम् ।अरोगतामदोषतां सुसाहितीं सुपुत्रतांसमाहितायुरष्टभूतिमभ्युपैति सोऽचिरात् ॥६॥

mahāgaṇeśapañcaratnamādareṇa yo'nvahaṃprajalpati prabhātake hṛdi smaran gaṇeśvaram |arogatāmadoṣatāṃ susāhitīṃ suputratāṃsamāhitāyuraṣṭabhūtimabhyupaiti so'cirāt ||6||

Whoever reverently recites these five jewels of Mahāgaṇeśa each morning, remembering the lord of the gaṇas in the heart, soon gains health, freedom from faults, eloquence, good children, a long and settled life and the eight kinds of prosperity.
